There are over 150 United States Patents associated with the Violano Virtuoso. The first patents were granted to Henry Sandell and assigned to Mills Novelty Co. Later patents were granted to Sandell, as well as Herbert Stephen Mills (oldest brother) and Bert Mills (youngest brother)
